Alliance Data Banking Software Crosses $1 Trillion in Transactions processed

After rolling out on December 17th, 1998 the CHAS2000 Settlement system, used by virtually every major banking institution in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Texas and Utah, crossed 1 Trillion Dollars in Transactions today.

CHAS2000 is the new Settlement Software developed by Alliance Data that facilitates the clearing of financial instruments between Banks within their Federal Reserve Bank accounts. With current member banks totaling just over 190, CHAS2000 is processing over 150 million items per month accounting for the movement of approximately $105 Billion Dollars.
