High tech client's business model was changing to increase its focus on reselling other manufacturers' goods.


Routing new 3rd party products through the centralized ERP, order management and revenue recognition systems was prohibitively time consuming and was not sufficient to make incentives for the sales organization to promote those products effective.


ADC developed a system to manage the processing of 3rd party product order data outside of the client's main order flow bypassing but still reconciling with bottleneck systems. Automated interfaces were developed with full reconciliation reporting to order management, product catalog, compensation and customer management systems.


The client was able to rapidly offer new third party products to its customers and effectively incent its sales force to promote them. The deployment of the system supported the dynamic change in business model and provided rapid delivery of business functionality years ahead of other systems alternatives.
